Job summary

U.S. Bank is seeking an experienced QA Automation Engineer to design, build, and maintain automation for mobile and backend testing within the AMTT platform.

You will partner with engineering to integrate testing into CI/CD, tackle performance, reliability, and scalability challenges, and drive quality across multiple product releases. Qualifications

• Strong experience in QA Automation, Software Engineering, SDET, or Quality Engineering roles.
• Proficiency in one or more programming languages including Swift, Objective-C, Java, Kotlin, Python, C#, or C/C++.
• Hands‑on experience developing automation frameworks, test tooling, or mobile application test solutions.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain automation within the homegrown AMTT platform for iOS, Android, and payment solution testing.
• Build automated test solutions for functional, integration, regression, stress, and scalability testing.
• Develop and enhance in-house testing platforms to improve automation coverage, execution efficiency, and reporting.
• Partner with engineering teams to integrate automated testing into CI/CD pipelines and release processes.
• Support reliable and repeatable testing across multiple product releases and environments.
• Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve software defects, reliability issues, and performance bottlenecks.
• Analyze application stability, including crashes, memory leaks, CPU utilization, and resource consumption issues.
• Generate quality metrics, root cause analyses, and actionable recommendations to improve system performance, scalability, and product quality.
