Job summary

U.S. Bank National Association is hiring an experienced Automation Engineer to design, build, and maintain scalable test automation frameworks across UI, API, and end-to-end testing.

You will apply Playwright with TypeScript/JavaScript, advance API and backend testing, and lead AI-driven quality initiatives while integrating into CI/CD pipelines. This role requires strong leadership and collaboration across teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience.
• 5–6 years of relevant experience with programming concepts and automation.
• Strong knowledge of modern web technologies and testing practices.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain scalable test automation frameworks for UI, API, and end-to-end testing.
• Develop and execute automated test solutions using TypeScript, JavaScript, and Playwright.
• Implement API and backend automation strategies with service validation and integration testing.
• Lead adoption of BDD with Cucumber/Gherkin to improve collaboration and coverage.
• Integrate automated testing into CI/CD pipelines across dev lifecycles.
• Mentor engineers through code reviews and automation strategy guidance.
