Job summary

MidFirst Bank seeks a Quality Assurance Supervisor to lead a QA team across manual and automated testing for consumer banking platforms and mobile apps. You will partner with stakeholders and development teams to ensure quality, release readiness, and production stability.

Responsibilities include coaching the QA team, developing automation strategy, overseeing UAT and smoke testing, managing risk and defects, and aligning testing with regulatory requirements in a fast-paced, regulated banking

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information systems, engineering, business, or a related field.
• 5+ years of progressive experience in software quality assurance, including both manual and automated testing in web, mobile, and enterprise application environments.
• Experience leading, managing, and developing QA team members; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Expert knowledge of quality assurance methodologies, test planning, defect management, automation frameworks, security considerations, and regulatory requirements.
• Strong test leadership, issue triage, prioritization, workload coordination, quality reporting, and release support in fast-paced delivery environments.
• Ability to manage competing priorities; communicate effectively; and build working relationships with teams, vendors, and stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Supervises, coaches, and develops a team of QA team members, supporting performance management and continuous improvement.
• Leads manual and automated QA efforts for software solutions, ensuring test coverage and alignment with requirements.
• Maintains expert-level knowledge of automation frameworks and leads automation strategy and test tooling.
• Manages UAT and smoke testing activities with internal and third-party partners to certify builds for production.
• Tracks, triages, and prioritizes high volumes of issues across environments with risk escalation as needed.
• Oversees validation of security, compliance, and control requirements within QA processes for banking platforms.
• Establishes testing priorities, coordinates resources, and manages multiple testing initiatives with agile teams.
• Manages test lab setup and configuration to support validation, device coverage, and release testing needs.
