Job summary

My3Tech in Austin, TX is seeking a QA Engineer Automation for a 9-month contract in a hybrid setup (3 days on site, 2 days remote). The role requires designing automated tests, developing scripts, and creating execution plans to validate complex applications.

You will work independently on test planning, test case development, and test environments, with emphasis on healthcare-related software validation and knowledge of Katalon. Strong teamwork and communication are essential.

Qualifications

• Experience designing automated tests by creating scripts that run testing functions automatically.
• Experience in prioritizing test scenarios and creating execution plans to implement these scenarios.
• Experience in creating test plans, test cases, and preparing test environments.
• Experience in performing moderately complex functional, application, and regression testing.
• Knowledge of the software development life cycle and software development methodologies.
• Able to interpret requirement documents and update test documents accordingly.
• Strong familiarity with analysis, planning and management reporting functions.
• Acquires knowledge of the Customer's business in assigned area.
• Strong teamwork and interpersonal skills.
• Able to work with Customer as needed during test cycle.
• Excellent analytical; problem-solving; team playing; and oral and written communication skills.
• Proven ability to work successfully with technical and non-technical groups and manage multiple responsibilities.
• Experience with Texas DIR Project Delivery Framework and document templates.
• Familiarity with company's information architecture and information management methodologies.
• Familiarity with the existing and planned software technology and the global, regional and local software architecture and infrastructure components.
