Synapse Health is hiring a Sr. QA Engineer to advance quality, reliability, and scalability across our software platform. You will craft automation strategies, design robust test suites, and partner with Engineering and Product to embed quality throughout the lifecycle.

This role emphasizes deep automation expertise, modern QA practices, and collaboration in a fast-paced Agile environment. Healthcare domain experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of professional software testing experience with strong automation.
• Hands-on automation using C#, Java, or similar languages with modern frameworks such as Playwright or Cypress.
• Experience building maintainable automation architectures (POM, data-driven, or hybrid).
• Experience integrating automated test suites into CI/CD pipelines (Azure DevOps, Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI).
• Strong understanding of testing principles including verification/validation, defect management, risk-based testing.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable test automation frameworks and reusable libraries.
• Build and maintain automated test suites using cloud-based platforms such as Test Sigma.
• Develop end-to-end integration tests using Playwright or similar frameworks (C#, Java, or equivalent).
• Define automation strategies aligned with product architecture and timelines.
• Collaborate with engineers and product managers to ensure testability from design through release.
• Create shared testing utilities and helper functions across teams.
• Integrate automated testing into CI/CD pipelines for fast feedback.
• Monitor test reliability and reduce flakiness to maintain a trustworthy signal.
• Analyze results to identify defects, performance issues, coverage gaps, and risks.
