Synapse Health is seeking a Sr. QA Engineer to elevate automation, reliability, and scalability across our software platform. You will design scalable automation frameworks, implement robust test suites, and partner with Engineering and Product to embed quality throughout the SDLC.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of software testing experience with automation.
• Hands-on automation using C#, Java, or similar languages.
• Experience building maintainable automation architectures (POM, data-driven, or hybrid).
• Experience integrating automated test suites into CI/CD pipelines (Azure DevOps, Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI).
• Familiarity with containerized environments (Docker, Kubernetes).

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable test automation frameworks.
• Build and maintain automated test suites using cloud-based platforms.
• Develop end-to-end integration tests using Playwright or similar frameworks.
• Define automation strategies aligned with product architecture and timelines.
• Collaborate with engineers and product managers to validate requirements testability.
• Create shared testing utilities and libraries for cross-team use.
• Integrate automated testing into CI/CD pipelines for fast feedback.
• Monitor test reliability and reduce flakiness.
• Analyze results to identify defects, performance issues, and coverage gaps.
• Triage and resolve defects with development teams.
• Advocate for shift-left testing and continuous quality improvement.
