Job summary

Centillion Infotech LLC in NYC seeks an experienced QA Automation Engineer with 8+ years in software quality assurance, automation testing, and enterprise testing. The ideal candidate will build and maintain automated test frameworks, execute functional and regression testing, and validate APIs in Banking/Financial Services domains.

Ideal candidates will have strong automation skills with Selenium, Java, Python, and experience integrating tests into CI/CD pipelines.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in Software Quality Assurance and Testing.
• Hands-on experience in Test Automation.
• Experience with Selenium WebDriver or similar automation tools.
• Strong programming experience in Java, Python, or JavaScript.
• API testing and automation using REST Assured, Postman, or similar tools.
• Strong knowledge of Manual Testing, Functional Testing, Regression Testing, Integration Testing, and End-to-End Testing.
• Experience with SQL and database testing.
• Experience with defect tracking and test management tools such as JIRA.
• Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and tools such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or Azure DevOps.
• Strong understanding of Agile and Scrum methodologies.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Experience working with enterprise-scale applications.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain automated test frameworks and test scripts for web and enterprise applications.
• Perform functional, regression, integration, system, and end-to-end testing.
• Develop automated test scripts using tools such as Selenium, Java, Python, or other automation technologies.
• Perform API testing using tools such as Postman, REST Assured, or similar frameworks.
• Collaborate with developers, business analysts, product owners, and QA teams to understand requirements.
• Create and maintain detailed test plans, test cases, test scenarios, and test data.
• Identify, document, track, and validate defects using JIRA.
• Participate in code reviews and continuously improve automation frameworks.
• Integrate automated testing into CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or Azure DevOps.
• Perform database validation and backend testing using SQL.
• Execute cross-browser and cross-platform testing as required.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies and retrospectives.
• Collaborate with DevOps to support continuous testing and quality improvement.
• Ensure applications meet quality, performance, security, and reliability standards.
