Job summary

Evolent seeks a Senior QA Automation Engineer to drive the quality strategy for the Evolent Platform UX. You will design and maintain end-to-end, component, accessibility, contract, and test automation for a React/Next.js app and mentor the team on quality signals and AI-assisted testing.

You will lead Playwright-based suites, API and contract tests, and CI/CD integration, while ensuring security and accessibility standards are met across releases.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in software quality assurance.
• Hands-on test automation for modern web applications.
• Experience with Playwright using TypeScript or JavaScript.
• Accessibility testing with axe-core and screen readers.
• Experience with API testing and contract testing.

Responsibilities

• Develop and manage comprehensive UX test strategies including functional, regression, accessibility, performance, and AI-output quality.
• Participate in code reviews, design discussions, and product planning to embed quality.
• Define and uphold test automation patterns and standards with front-end leads.
• Mentor quality engineers and promote QA best practices across the team.
• Lead CI/CD automation efforts in GitHub Actions and related tooling.
