Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CS or related field.
• 5+ years in software QA with manual and automated testing.
• Proficiency in test automation tools; Karate and/or Playwright preferred.
• Strong coding skills in C#, Java, Python, or JavaScript.
• Experience with Git and agile methodologies.
• Excellent communication and mentoring abilities.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and manage test plans and strategies for complex software applications.
• Lead creation and optimization of test automation frameworks for improved efficiency and test coverage.
• Conduct detailed manual and automated testing to validate software functionality, performance, and security.
• Identify, document, and prioritize defects, and collaborate with developers for timely resolution.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives in testing processes, tools, and methodologies.
• Mentor junior quality engineers, promoting best practices in testing and quality assurance.
• Analyze test data, generate quality metrics, and provide regular reports on software quality to stakeholders.
• Participate in code reviews, design discussions, and product planning to ensure quality is built into all phases of the software lifecycle.
• Stay updated on emerging testing tools, technologies, and best practices, and evaluate their applicability.
