Job summary

LighthouseAI is seeking an experienced QA Automation Engineer in the United States to design scalable end-to-end automation frameworks using Playwright, with optional Selenium experience for modern testing architectures. You will integrate AI/LLM capabilities (Claude/OpenAI) to create self-healing tests and automate data generation.

You will collaborate with developers, product managers, and data scientists to accelerate validation, improve test coverage, and drive high-quality software releases

Qualifications

• 5+ years of dedicated professional experience in software QA automation engineering.
• Proficient with Playwright (TypeScript/JavaScript/Python); Selenium experience acceptable with modern testing architectures.
• Experience with Large Language Models (Claude or OpenAI APIs) and writing effective system prompts.

Responsibilities

• Framework development with end-to-end automation using Playwright (or Selenium).
• AI/LLM integration to enable self-healing scripts and non-deterministic UI validation.
• Workflow optimization using prompts and LLM APIs to automate QA tasks and improve coverage.
• Project and bug management using Linear and Jira for sprint visibility.
• CI/CD automation integrating test execution into GitHub Actions or GitLab CI.
• Collaborate with developers, product managers, and data scientists to validate risk early.
