Job summary

Lam Research is seeking a QA Analyst 4 in Tualatin, OR, to join the Global Operations Group. The role focuses on monitoring compliance with Lam’s quality processes for high-volume manufacturing, evaluating controls, and supporting issue containment and investigations across engineering, manufacturing, and supply chain.

Qualifications

• Minimum 8 years related experience with a Bachelor's degree; or 6 years with a Master’s; or a PhD with 3 years.
• Strong data analysis skills (Excel, Power BI, or similar tools).
• Familiarity with nonconformance management, audits, CAPA, and risk assessments.

Responsibilities

• Monitor adherence to QMS requirements within High Volume Manufacturing.
• Evaluate internal controls, process execution, and documentation to identify gaps and risks.
• Support containment and investigation of quality issues by coordinating with engineering, manufacturing, and supply chain teams.
• Interface with Quality Focals/Inspectors/Certified Techs to support High Volume Manufacturing day-to-day operations.
• Create quality documentation, including procedures, Quality Alerts, and Quality Shorts.
• Support risk assessments, nonconformance tracking, and root cause analysis activities.
• Analyze quality and workmanship data to identify trends, recurring issues, and opportunities for improvement.
