Job summary

Lam Research in Oregon is seeking a skilled Quality Compliance Specialist to support conformance to quality assurance processes in high-volume manufacturing. You will evaluate internal controls, assess risk, and coordinate with engineering, manufacturing and supply chain to remediate deficiencies.

The role involves creating quality documentation, facilitating audits, and enabling risk assessments while partnering across functions to drive continuous improvement in our manufacturing operations.

Qualifications

• Supports compliance to Lam’s quality processes by monitoring adherence to QMS requirements within High Volume Manufacturing.
• Evaluate internal controls, process execution, and documentation to identify gaps, risks, and areas for improvement.
• Familiarity with nonconformance management, audits, CAPA, and risk assessments.

• Experience working cross-functionally in a fast-paced environment.

• Interface with Quality Focals/Inspectors/Certified Techs to support High Volume Manufacturing day-to-day operations.
• Create quality documentation, including procedures, Quality Alerts, and Quality Shorts.
• Support risk assessments, nonconformance tracking, and root cause analysis activities.
• Analyze quality and workmanship data to identify trends, recurring issues, and opportunities for improvement.

The impact you’ll make

Supports the organization with initial compliance and ongoing preparation, testing, and monitoring of conformance to established quality assurance processes and standards for manufacturing and production. Performs evaluation of internal controls, communications, risk assessments, and maintenance of documentation as related to compliance with internal and external safety, quality, and regulatory standards. Identifies risk and evaluates deficiencies while working with internal departments and business units to appropriately remedy them. Facilitates internal training on quality assurance requirements, processes, and procedures. May perform audits and risk assessments.

What You’ll Do

Who We’re Looking For

• Typically requires a minimum of 8 years of related experience with a Bachelor’s degree; or 6 years and a Master’s degree; or a PhD with 3 years of experience; or equivalent experience.
• Strong data analysis skills (Excel, Power BI, or similar tools).
• Familiarity and experience with nonconformance management, audits, CAPA, and risk assessments.
• Understanding of quality systems, compliance requirements, and manufacturing processes.
• Experience working cross-functionally in a fast-paced environment.
