Job summary

Lam Research in Oregon is seeking a Quality Engineer to ensure manufacturing processes and products meet quality standards. You will design, implement, and maintain QA practices within the QMS, and analyze production data to identify trends and drive improvements.

You will collaborate cross-functionally to resolve technical, quality, and production challenges, applying 8D methodology and supporting audits and quality projects across the organization.

Responsibilities

• Analyze production data to identify trends and update quality defect detection, reporting, and improvement programs.
• Support disposition of supplier quality issues in manufacturing using defined RCCA criteria.
• Conduct preliminary analysis of quality escapes and drive root cause analysis and CAPA planning and execution.
• Ensure RCCA findings are presented to stakeholders and actions are deployed.
• Monitor the quality of investigations across Product Groups and Supply Chain to prevent recurrence in Manufacturing.
• Support Global Quality and GOPS quality projects and audits.
• Perform GEMBAs on the manufacturing floor and interview technicians to identify improvement opportunities.
• Review build instructions, conduct risk assessments, and provide feedback on manufacturability of deposition products.
