Job summary

Lam Research is seeking a senior quality compliance professional to join our Global Operations Group. You’ll help monitor adherence to QMS requirements in High Volume Manufacturing and work across engineering, manufacturing, and supply chain to drive risk reduction and continuous improvement.

You will evaluate controls, assist in containment and investigation of issues, and create essential quality documentation while coordinating with inspectors and cross-functional teams in a hybrid

Qualifications

• Typically requires a minimum of 8 years of related experience with a Bachelor’s degree; or 6 years and a Master’s degree; or a PhD with 3 years of experience.
• Strong data analysis skills (Excel, Power BI, or similar tools).
• Experience with nonconformance management, audits, CAPA, and risk assessments.

Responsibilities

• Support compliance to Lam’s quality processes by monitoring adherence to QMS requirements within High Volume Manufacturing.
• Evaluate internal controls, process execution, and documentation to identify gaps, risks, and areas for improvement.
• Support containment and investigation of quality issues by coordinating with engineering, manufacturing, and supply chain teams.
• Interface with Quality Focals/Inspectors/Certified Techs to support High Volume Manufacturing day-to-day operations.
• Create quality documentation, including procedures, Quality Alerts, and Quality Shorts.
• Support risk assessments, nonconformance tracking, and root cause analysis activities.
• Analyze quality and workmanship data to identify trends, recurring issues, and opportunities for improvement.

The impact you’ll make

• Supports the organization with initial compliance and ongoing preparation, testing, and monitoring of conformance to established quality assurance processes and standards for manufacturing and production. Performs evaluation of internal controls, communications, risk assessments, and maintenance of documentation as related to compliance with internal and external safety, quality, and regulatory standards. Identifies risk and evaluates deficiencies while working with internal departments and business units to appropriately remedy them. Facilitates internal training on quality assurance requirements, processes, and procedures. May perform audits and risk assessments.

Who we’re looking for

• Strong data analysis skills (Excel, Power BI, or similar tools).
• Familiarity and experience with nonconformance management, audits, CAPA, and risk assessments.
• Understanding of quality systems, compliance requirements, and manufacturing processes.
• Experience working cross-functionally in a fast-paced environment.

Our hybrid roles combine the benefits of on-site collaboration with colleagues and the flexibility to work remotely and fall into two categories - On-site Flex and Virtual Flex. 'On-site Flex' you'll work 3+ days per week on-site at a Lam or customer/supplier location, with the opportunity to work remotely for the balance of the week. 'Virtual Flex' you'll work 1-2 days per week on-site at a Lam or customer/supplier location, and remotely the rest of the time.
