Job summary

7Seventy Recruiting is seeking a Quality Assurance Analyst II for a remote role with option to work hybrid or in-office in San Francisco, New York, Chicago, or Salt Lake City. The job requires 5+ years of QA experience and a strong SDLC background.

You will analyze requirements, design test cases, execute manual testing, report defects, and verify fixes across the SDLC. Expect collaboration with QA engineers to expand automated testing coverage and ensure product quality.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional Quality Assurance experience.
• Strong understanding of SDLC processes and methodologies.
• Experience with manual testing, test case design, and defect tracking.

Responsibilities

• Analyze user stories and requirements to create effective test cases and scenarios.
• Develop test plans and testing approaches for software features.
• Document defects clearly with reproducible steps and verify fixes.
• Reproduce reported bugs and validate resolutions.
• Prioritize test cases based on risk and business priorities.
• Conduct exploratory testing to assess reliability and robustness.
• Collaborate with QA engineers to expand automated test coverage.
