Job summary

Filevine is seeking a Quality Assurance Engineer with 5+ years of QA experience to analyze requirements, plan and perform manual testing, and collaborate on expanding automated test coverage. The role supports remote work with hybrid/in-office options in San Francisco, New York, Chicago, or Salt Lake City.

The ideal candidate will create test plans, reproduce and document defects, and work to improve SDLC processes while ensuring product quality across our Legal Operating Intelligence platform.

Qualifications

• Associates or Bachelor's Degree
• 5+ years of Quality Assurance experience
• Strong understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) processes and methodologies
• Knowledge of bug tracking software preferred

Responsibilities

• Understand user stories/requirements and create test cases and test scenarios
• Create structured test plans & approaches
• Dig into technical problems and write clear, detailed, and repeatable defect reports
• Reproduce bugs reported by support team
• Verify and close bug tickets
• Prioritize test cases and plan test execution effectively
• Conduct exploratory testing to evaluate robustness and functionality of products
• Work with QA engineers to increase automation coverage of features based on business priorities and risks
