APR Staffing is seeking a Quality Assurance Analyst to ensure software quality through manual and automated testing. The role emphasizes collaboration with development teams, participation in Agile ceremonies, and mentoring peers in automation best practices.

The ideal candidate will have 3+ years of QA experience, strong SQL skills, and a solid understanding of SDLC/SQA principles, with a remote-first work environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in IT, CS, or related field or equivalent experience.
• At least 3 years in Quality Assurance or related field.
• Experience with software testing and test automation.
• Experience with Agile SDLC processes.
• Strong QA and SQA principles.
• SQL skills to query/test data.
• Strong analytical and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and in fast-paced environments.

Responsibilities

• Conduct software testing to identify and resolve defects.
• Develop, document, and execute test plans and test cases.
• Perform Manual Smoke, Sanity, Regression, and UAT.
• Build and maintain automated tests with Selenium or Playwright.
• Collaborate with development teams to ensure quality standards.
• Provide testing progress updates, reports, and recommendations.
• Identify risks that may impact product quality.
• Create and maintain test data as needed.
• Work within Agile methodologies and participate in Agile ceremonies.
• Mentor and coach other QA engineers on automation testing.
