Job summary

Ascot Group in the United States seeks a Senior Quality Assurance Analyst to ensure insurance product quality via manual testing and automated scripts. You will work with AI-enabled tooling, advance test automation, and participate in CI/CD pipelines.

You will plan testing activities, manage risks, and collaborate with cross‑functional teams across shores in a fast-paced, collaborative culture. Hybrid office role with Ascot Way values.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent years of experience in testing/QA.
• 5+ years’ experience in a testing/QA role in the financial services industry.
• 3+ years’ experience in Commercial or Specialty insurance.
• Exposure to different SDLCs; Agile experience required.
• Functional testing experience and strong MS Office skills.
• Excellent communication—verbal, written and presentation.
• Analytical, rigorous, detail oriented with adaptability.
• Experience with API testing and tools like Postman and SoapUI is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Plan and execute project/release testing activities.
• Prioritize tasks per business needs.
• Plan capacity, allocate tasks, track and report progress.
• Manage clients, partners, stakeholders; handle risks and issues.
• Collaborate with global teams to deliver projects successfully.
• Follow escalation processes for risks or issues; take actions.
• Build relationships across the organization for open communication.
• Draft test strategy and test plan; estimate effort and schedule.
