Job summary

Ascot Group is seeking a Senior Quality Assurance Analyst to ensure the quality of Specialty insurance products through manual testing and automated test scripts. The role reports to the AVP, Quality Assurance and operates on a hybrid basis, collaborating with teams across shores to deliver high-quality software.

Ideal candidates have 5+ years in QA within financial services, strong testing fundamentals, and hands-on automation experience with Playwrite, Selenium and similar tools.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
• Minimum 5 years’ experience in testing/QA in the financial services industry.
• Minimum 3 years’ experience in the Commercial and/or Specialty insurance industry.
• Exposure to different SDLCs; Agile experience is a must.
• Proficiency in test automation tools (e.g. Playwrite, Selenium, TestNG, JUnit, Cypress).
• Knowledge of scripting languages (e.g. Python, JavaScript) and programming languages (e.g. Java, C#) is preferred.
• Experience with API testing and tools like Postman and SoapUI is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Plan and execute project / release testing activities.
• Prioritize tasks according to business needs.
• Capacity planning, task allocation, tracking and reporting.
• Collaborate with stakeholders across shores to deliver projects.
• Draft and maintain test strategy and test plans.
• Develop and maintain automated test scripts and CI/CD integration.
