Qualifications

• A. Formal training or certification on software engineering concepts and 5+ years applied experience
• The role requires a technically strong and disciplined developer with high-quality, well-tested solutions
• Experience in performant, large-scale system development in Python, Java, C++ or C#
• Willingness to become proficient in Python if not already a primary language
• Demonstrated experience leading effective use of enterprise-approved AI-assisted software development tools
• Strong understanding of responsible AI use in engineering workflows and secure practices
• Excellent interpersonal skills to interact with business users and understand requirements
• Good understanding of Agile development methodologies and production ownership
• Focus on testing throughout the development cycle

Responsibilities

• Own and deliver specific projects within the global program of work
• Collaborate with and influence other technology teams to deliver solutions to meet users’ needs
• Develops secure and high-quality production code, and reviews and debugs code written by others
• Drives adoption and governance of AI-assisted engineering practices to improve quality and speed
• Applies knowledge of SDLC tools to improve value of automation at scale
• Serves as a function-wide subject matter expert in one or more focus areas
