Job summary

Red Alpha is seeking a Software Engineer to develop, sustain, and troubleshoot a software suite across the full software development lifecycle. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver scalable, secure solutions and integrate with COTS, GOTS, and FOSS products.

The role requires 7+ years of experience, a CS degree (or equivalent with experience), and strong skills in Linux, Bash, Python, Rust, MongoDB, Docker, Kubernetes, Helm, RabbitMQ, GitLab CI, Ansible, and Git.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of relevant experience as a Software Engineer.
• Bachelor’s degree in CS or related field; 4 additional years may substitute for a degree.
• Experience with Linux CLI and tools.
• Experience Bash scripting.
• Recent Python (3.x) development experience.
• Experience with Rust concepts or willingness to learn.
• Experience with MongoDB NoSQL databases.
• Experience with Docker and containerd.
• Experience with Kubernetes.
• Experience creating Helm charts for Kubernetes deployments.
• Familiar with RabbitMQ messaging frameworks.
• Familiar with CI/CD, especially GitLab CI.
• Familiar with IaC (Ansible).
• Experience with Git sources control.
• Active US Government TS/SCI clearance with polygraph.

Responsibilities
