Job summary

Red Alpha seeks a Senior Software Engineer to design, sustain, and troubleshoot complex data flows, storage, transport, and security for mission-critical environments.

You will work with the mission customer to clean, enrich, transform raw data, and implement reliable NiFi-based pipelines across platforms.

The role requires deep experience in Java, Python, Bash, NiFi, and a passion for robust data processing in a fast-paced setting, with a TS/SCI clearance.

Qualifications

• Active TS/SCI with Polygraph required.
• 12+ years of software engineering experience.
• Strong Linux CLI and scripting (Bash/Python).
• Design and implement Java solutions, NiFi administration, and data flows.
• Experience with Atlassian tools (JIRA, Confluence).

Responsibilities

• Create, sustain and troubleshoot complex operational data flows.
• Process, transform, and enrich raw data into required formats.
• Improve reliability, distribution, and performance of data pipelines.
• Collaborate with mission customer to fulfill data security and compliance needs.
