Job summary

PETADATA is seeking a Senior Python Developer with Snowflake to build scalable data solutions and optimize pipelines in a data-driven environment. The candidate will lead development efforts across Snowflake, Python frameworks, and ETL/ELT processes, collaborating with data architects and stakeholders.

The role requires 12+ years of hands-on experience with Python, Snowflake, SQL, and cloud technologies (AWS/Azure/GCP).

Qualifications

12+ years of experience in Python development or data engineering.
Strong Python OOP, multithreading, APIs and data processing.
Extensive Snowflake Data Cloud experience.
Proficiency in SQL and performance tuning.
Experience with ETL/ELT, data warehousing, and data modeling.
Cloud platforms: AWS, Azure, or GCP.
Familiarity with Airflow, REST APIs, Git, CI/CD, Docker, Kubernetes.

Responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain scalable Python and Snowflake data apps.
Build and optimize ETL/ELT pipelines for ingestion, transformation, and loading.
Design Snowflake data warehouses with schema design and optimization.
Develop reusable Python frameworks, APIs, and automation solutions.
Collaborate with stakeholders to translate requirements into technical solutions.
Optimize SQL queries, stored procedures, and data workflows for performance.
Integrate data from databases, APIs, cloud storage, and third-party apps.
Implement data quality, governance, security, and compliance best practices.
Monitor and resolve production issues in data pipelines and Snowflake environments.
Lead code reviews, establish development standards, and mentor junior team members.
Participate in Agile ceremonies and CI/CD collaboration with DevOps.
