PETADATA is seeking a Senior Python Developer with Snowflake expertise and 12+ years of experience to build scalable data solutions, optimize pipelines, and support enterprise data platforms in an on-site Austin setting.

The role covers designing and maintaining Python-based processing apps, building ETL/ELT pipelines, Snowflake data warehouses, and collaboration with data architects, stakeholders, and DevOps for CI/CD.

Competenze

• 12+ years of Python development, data engineering, or related fields.
• Strong Python programming skills (OOP, multithreading, APIs, data processing).
• Extensive Snowflake Data Cloud experience.
• SQL proficiency with query optimization and performance tuning.
• ETL/ELT development and data integration expertise.
• Cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Experience with PySpark and large-scale data processing.
• Knowledge of Airflow, CI/CD, Docker, and Kubernetes.

Mansioni

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable data processing apps with Python and Snowflake.
• Build and optimize enterprise ETL/ELT pipelines for ingestion, transformation, loading.
• Design Snowflake data warehouses: schema design, data modeling, performance tuning.
• Develop reusable Python frameworks, APIs, and automation.
• Collaborate with stakeholders, data architects, cross-functional teams.
• Optimize SQL queries, stored procedures, data workflows for performance.
• Integrate data from relational DBs, APIs, cloud storage, third-party apps.
• Implement data quality, governance, security, and compliance across the data ecosystem.
• Monitor, troubleshoot production data pipelines and Snowflake environments.
• Lead code reviews, establish standards, mentor juniors.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies; sprint planning, stand-ups, retrospectives.
• Work with DevOps to implement CI/CD and automate deployments.
• Evaluate new technologies to improve platform efficiency and scalability.
