Job summary

Teksystems is seeking an experienced Snowflake Data Engineer to design scalable data pipelines and optimize Snowflake workloads in a modern cloud data platform.

The ideal candidate will have hands-on expertise with Snowflake, Python, SQL, PySpark/Snowpark, and AWS, and will implement ETL/ELT frameworks to deliver robust data solutions.

Qualifications

• Experience designing scalable data pipelines and Snowflake workloads.
• Hands-on with PySpark/Snowpark, Python, and SQL for data processing.
• Cloud data solutions on AWS with ETL/ELT frameworks.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable ETL/ELT pipelines using PySpark/Snowpark and Python.
• Develop and optimize complex SQL queries for large-scale data processing.
• Build, manage, and optimize data solutions on Snowflake.
• Implement data transformation frameworks using DBT.
• Work with Snowflake features such as SnowSQL, Snowpipe, Time Travel, Data Cloning, Data Sharing, and Access Control.
• Design and manage Snowflake objects including databases, schemas, tables, views, stages, and virtual warehouses.
• Integrate cloud data solutions using AWS services such as S3, Lambda, and SNS.
• Implement workflow orchestration using Apache Airflow.
• Optimize Snowflake performance, workload management, and cost efficiency.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality data solutions.
