Qualifications

• 6+ years of hands-on experience in application development with Python.
• Expert-level Python 3.x proficiency for scalable, high-performance apps.
• Experience with FastAPI, Django or Flask and OOP design patterns.
• Knowledge of microservices and distributed systems architecture.
• Extensive experience with PostgreSQL, Oracle, SQL Server and NoSQL DBs.
• Designing and securing RESTful APIs and integration patterns.
• CI/CD experience (Jenkins, GitLab CI, GitHub Actions, Bitbucket Pipelines).
• Unix/Linux proficiency and strong security awareness.

Responsibilities

• Lead hands-on implementation and architecture of Python frameworks for scalable, resilient, high-performance apps.
• Develop solutions adhering to architectural standards using deep technical and business domain knowledge.
• Enforce SDLC best practices and contribute to code quality via reviews.
• Collaborate with Risk, Quants, FO, DevOps, Production Support for seamless delivery.
• Drive development for Stress Testing and Regulatory Risk projects in Market Risk.
• Manage project technical aspects, including planning, governance, and ownership.
• Deliver high-quality solutions independently within a global matrixed environment and tight deadlines.
