The role demands strong Python expertise, API design, and secure, high-performance software solutions. Ideal candidates have 6+ years’ hands-on Python experience, microservices, cloud platforms, CI/CD, and a background in risk or finance domains.

Qualifications

• 6+ years hands-on Python development experience.
• Expert-level Python 3.x; frameworks such as FastAPI, Django, Flask.
• Experience with microservices and distributed systems design.
• Proficient in relational and NoSQL databases with advanced SQL.
• Hands-on with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab CI, GitHub Actions).
• Experience building secure RESTful APIs and integration patterns.

Responsibilities

• Lead implementation and architecture of Python applications for scalable, high-performance systems.
• Develop solutions following architectural standards with deep domain knowledge.
• Enforce SDLC best practices and contribute to code quality via reviews.
• Collaborate with Risk, Quants, FO, DevOps, Production Support teams.
• Drive Stress Testing and Regulatory Risk initiatives in Market Risk domain.
• Own planning, governance, and delivery of technical initiatives.
