Job summary

Fliff is hiring a Senior Python Engineer to join the Integration team responsible for key backend integrations with KYC providers, geolocation services, payment methods, and other external systems essential to operations.

You’ll own backend features end-to-end, build scalable services in Python/Django, and drive observability across integration flows. Remote-friendly, on-call rotations included.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of development experience with Python as the primary language.
• Strong experience in API and system integrations.
• Proven ability to design and maintain scalable backend services.
• Experience with observability tools to monitor production integrations.
• Solid fundamentals in algorithms, data structures, and concurrency.
• Experience designing architectures for highly loaded, scalable solutions.
• Willingness to participate in on-call rotations.

Responsibilities

• Take ownership of backend features from design to deployment and production support.
• Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend services using Python and Django.
• Build and maintain integrations with KYC, geolocation, payments, and other external systems.
• Collaborate with product and engineering teams to scope and deliver new integrations.
• Implement observability across integration flows with monitoring, logging and alerts.
• Write unit and integration tests to improve reliability and coverage.
• Support production issues and participate in on-call rotations.
