Job summary

Symfa Inc is seeking a Senior/Lead Python Engineer to join a B2B SaaS project in the insurance compliance domain. You will design and own architecture across backend, frontend, database, and integrations for an OCR-driven platform.

You will lead multi-tenant SaaS implementation, RBAC, authentication, data isolation, and ensure security and scalability while mentoring developers and guiding technical decisions.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of Python, React, and PostgreSQL experience.
• Experience with multi-tenant SaaS architecture, RBAC, authentication, authorization, and data isolation.
• Strong understanding of software architecture and design patterns for scalable enterprise apps.
• Experience integrating OCR services or similar solutions.
• Hands-on experience with Docker, AWS, or GCP.
• Knowledge of security practices including RBAC, data isolation, audit logging, OWASP basics, and GDPR/compliance awareness.
• Proactive, communicative, with ownership and client-facing communication.
• English at B2 level or higher.

Responsibilities

• Design and maintain the overall system architecture across backend, frontend, database, and integrations.
• Lead the implementation of multi-tenancy, OCR/document processing and compliance evaluation components.
• Make technical decisions and ensure scalability, security, data integrity, and maintainability.
• Conduct code reviews, establish engineering standards, and mentor developers.
• Translate business requirements into technical solutions, tasks, and estimates.
• Collaborate with BA and QA on requirements, technical design, and acceptance criteria.
• Identify and resolve technical risks, performance issues, and architectural bottlenecks.
