Job summary

JPMorgan Chase & Co. is seeking a Software Engineer for the AI/ML & Data Platforms team in Plano, TX. You will be a core technical contributor shaping solutions across multiple tech areas to support the firm’s business objectives.

Responsibilities include developing production-grade code, conducting thorough reviews, and driving initiatives for operational stability. You will engage in AI-assisted development while ensuring secure, scalable outcomes aligned with leadership principles.

Qualifications

3+ years of hands-on experience delivering system design, application development, testing, and operational stability.
Fluency in Python and strong proficiency across the Software Development Life Cycle.
Advanced understanding of agile methodologies, CI/CD, application resiliency, and security.
Practical AWS cloud native experience and familiarity with enterprise AI-assisted development tools.

Responsibilities

Executes creative software solutions, design, development, and technical troubleshooting with ability to think beyond routine approaches to build solutions.
Develops secure high-quality production code, and reviews and debugs code written by others.
Identifies opportunities to automate remediation of recurring issues to improve operational stability of software applications and systems.
Leads communities of practice across Software Engineering to drive awareness and use of new technologies.
Adds to team culture of diversity, equity, inclusion, and respect.
Provides insightful code reviews and takes ownership of outcomes.
Heavily uses Python, Snowflake and AWS technologies.
Develops and communicates Product vision that supports the broader organizational vision; ensures team culture aligns with leadership principles.
Leverages AI-assisted coding tools to improve code quality, delivery speed, and productivity; validates outputs via peer review and testing.
