Job summary

Fliff is seeking a Senior Python Engineer for the Integration team to own backend features, design scalable services with Python and Django, and build integrations with KYC, geolocation, payments, and other third-party services.

You will work closely with product and engineering to scope and deliver new integrations, implement observability, and contribute to robust testing and on-call rotations.

Qualifications

• At least 5+ years of development experience with Python and API/system integrations.
• Experience integrating third-party APIs with webhooks, callbacks, and idempotency handling.
• Strong fundamentals in algorithms, data structures and concurrency.

Responsibilities

• Take ownership of backend features from design to production support.
• Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend services using Python and Django.
• Build and maintain integrations with KYC, geolocation, and payment partners and other third-party services.
• Work with product and engineering to scope and deliver new integrations.
• Implement observability through monitoring, logging, and alerting across integration flows.
• Write unit and integration tests to improve reliability and test coverage.
• Support production issues and participate in on-call rotations.
