Job summary

Stradit LLC in Dallas, TX is seeking a Python-focused software engineer with 4–6 years of hands-on experience to design, develop, test, and maintain scalable applications. You will build REST APIs, integrate systems, and contribute to data pipelines and AI/ML initiatives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field.
• 4–6 years of hands-on software development with Python.
• Strong knowledge of Python libraries, frameworks, and best practices.
• Experience designing and consuming REST APIs and integrating with third-party platforms.
• Experience with relational and/or NoSQL databases.
• Knowledge of software design patterns, OO programming, and scalable architecture.
• Experience with Git and collaborative development workflows.
• Strong debugging, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and maintain scalable Python applications and services.
• Build and support RESTful APIs and integrations with internal and external systems.
• Collaborate with product owners, business analysts, architects, and developers to understand requirements and deliver high-quality solutions.
• Participate in the design and implementation of data pipelines and automation frameworks.
• Support AI/ML initiatives by developing data processing components and integrating ML services into apps.
• Troubleshoot production and non-production issues, perform root cause analysis, and implement fixes.
• Participate in code reviews and ensure adherence to coding, security, and best practices.
• Contribute to CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, and DevOps practices.
• Create and maintain technical documentation, design artifacts, and operational procedures.
• Support application monitoring, performance tuning, and reliability improvements.
• Actively participate in Agile ceremonies, including sprint planning, stand-ups, retrospectives, and backlog refinement.
