Job summary

Bold Business, an AI-first U.S.-based company, seeks a Senior Python Engineer to own both backend systems and the data layer. You will build APIs, design data pipelines, and ensure clean, reliable data powering AI systems.

Working under a Lead Architect, you will execute independently and own outcomes. Responsibilities include building production Python APIs, running data pipelines, and owning data quality.

Qualifications

• Production Python APIs built and maintained.
• Strong SQL and database design capabilities.
• Experience with data pipelines (ingestion, transformation, reliability).
• Knowledge of RAG systems data requirements and vector stores.
• Ability to integrate external APIs and webhooks.
• Experience with tests and clean Git workflows.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain production Python APIs (FastAPI or similar).
• Design and run data pipelines (ETL, ingestion, transformation).
• Own data quality, validation, monitoring, and failure handling.
• Structure data for RAG systems and AI agents.
• Design and manage PostgreSQL and vector DB schemas.
