CapTech Consulting in Reston, VA is seeking a senior software professional to design, develop, and deploy Python-based applications for client projects. You will write clean code, adhere to standards, and collaborate with architects and other developers to deliver scalable solutions.

Responsibilities include testing, debugging, code reviews, and staying current with Python trends. You will engage with clients to define requirements and contribute to reusable components and AI-enabled platforms.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional software development experience.
• Strong hands-on experience with Python.
• Proficiency in Java, C#, or .NET.
• Understanding of OO design, patterns, and SDLC.
• Experience with REST APIs, microservices and enterprise apps.
• Hands-on AI/ML or Generative AI experience and API integrations.
• Git and modern software development practices; cloud environments.
• Experience with relational and NoSQL databases and client-facing consulting.

Responsibilities
