Job summary
CapTech is seeking an experienced Python software engineer to design, develop, and deploy production-ready applications for diverse clients. You will collaborate with architects, designers, and other engineers to deliver scalable solutions in cloud environments and ensure robust REST APIs and microservices.
The role emphasizes hands-on coding, testing, code reviews, and staying current with AI/ML integrations, data engineering, and DevOps practices.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of professional software development experience.
- Proficient Python development for production applications.
- Experience with Java/C#/.NET is a plus.
- Strong understanding of OOP and design patterns.
- Experience with REST APIs, microservices, and enterprise apps.
- Hands-on AI/ML or Generative AI experience.
- Git and modern software development practices.
- Experience with databases (SQL/NoSQL).
- Cloud-based environments and DevOps practices.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Client-facing consulting experience is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and deploy Python applications per client requirements.
