CapTech seeks a Senior Python Developer to design, build, and deploy production-grade applications in a client-facing consulting environment.

Ideal candidates have 5+ years in software development, strong Python skills, and hands-on experience with REST APIs, microservices, and cloud platforms.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional software development experience.
• Strong hands-on experience developing production applications with Python.
• Professional experience with Java, C#, or .NET.
• Strong understanding of object-oriented programming, software design principles, and design patterns.
• Experience developing REST APIs, microservices, and enterprise applications.
• Hands-on experience with AI/ML or Generative AI technologies.
• Experience integrating AI models, APIs, or AI services into software applications.
• Experience with Git and modern software development practices.
• Experience with relational and/or NoSQL databases.
• Experience working in cloud-based environments.
• Strong understanding of software development lifecycle methodologies.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a client-facing consulting environment.

Responsibilities

• Designing, developing, and deploying Python-based applications per client requirements.
• Writing clean, efficient, maintainable code following standards and best practices.
• Collaborating with architects, designers, and other developers to implement solutions.
• Conducting testing and debugging to ensure functionality, performance, and reliability.
• Participating in code reviews and contributing to continuous improvement initiatives.
• Staying updated with Python trends and related technologies.
• Working with clients to understand requirements and provide technical guidance.
• Developing reusable components, libraries, and frameworks to accelerate development.
