HRM INFO LLC seeks a highly skilled Senior Python Developer to support its music data team remotely. You will design scalable data pipelines, APIs, and analytics tools, focusing on large datasets, data integration, and automation in the entertainment industry.

The role involves collaborating with the Royalty Group, IT, and vendors to improve data access, accuracy, and insight, leveraging Python, SQL Server, and BI tools. This position offers a remote, nationwide opportunity.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in IT, CS, Data Science, Engineering, Statistics, or related discipline is required.
• Minimum 7 years of hands-on experience managing large datasets and programming within a full SDLC environment.
• Expertise in Python, including Pandas, ORM, SQLAlchemy, Numpy, Matplotlib, and related packages; SQL Server experience is essential.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Royalty Group in managing, storing, and accessing extensive music data from record companies, publishers, PROs, and DSPs.
• Design, develop, and implement ETL processes to ingest Excel, Text, JSON, and HTML into SQL Server databases.
• Automate data wrangling processes to streamline ingestion, normalization, and analysis.
• Develop cloud-based solutions and integrate third-party APIs, including website functionalities and JSON data formats.
• Establish logging, audit monitoring, and validation procedures to measure performance and resource use.
• Create automated workflows to improve data processing speed and accuracy.
• Collaborate with IT and Royalty Group to evaluate software and training needs.
• Propose and build new data platforms to meet evolving business requirements.
• Lead algorithm development from conception to deployment, including QA and analysis.
• Manage data rooms for clients and third-party stakeholders.
• Provide expert guidance on complex data issues, communicating solutions clearly.
