Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in Data Engineering or related software roles.
• Strong proficiency in Python and SQL for complex data processing.
• Hands-on experience with Apache Spark/PySpark and lakehouse architectures.
• Strong AWS data services experience (S3, Glue, Athena, Lambda).
• Experience with data orchestration and warehousing tools (Airflow, Snowflake/Redshift/BigQuery).
• Knowledge of DataOps, CI/CD, and IaC practices.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain high-throughput data pipelines for financial data.
• Scale cloud data warehouse and lakehouse architectures to handle massive data volumes.
• Collaborate with Data Scientists, Software Engineers, and Product Managers to translate needs into data solutions.
• Implement data quality frameworks, testing, monitoring, and alerting to ensure data integrity and compliance.
• Promote DataOps practices, including CI/CD and IaC for data systems.
• Champion data governance, privacy, and security standards across data platforms.
• Mentor junior and mid-level Data Engineers.
