The ideal candidate has 8+ years of Python development, deep API and database skills, and hands-on Azure deployment experience. You will work in an Agile environment, translate complex formulas into reliable software, and help maintain high performance and security.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of professional Python development experience.
• Strong API design and REST API development using Python.
• Proficiency with FastAPI or similar framework.
• Deep Azure expertise including App Service, DevOps, CI/CD.
• Strong SQL/PostgreSQL skills and data modeling.
• Experience with testing (unit/integration) and CI/CD.
• Ability to translate complex rules into deterministic software.
• Experience with Agile methodologies and cross-functional teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, enhance, and support backend services and REST APIs.
• Translate complex building science formulas and business rules into software.
• Deploy and maintain applications in Microsoft Azure environments.
• Implement automated tests and ensure code quality.
