Job summary

Tata Consultancy Services is seeking a Backend Developer (Python / AWS / Terraform) with 5+ years of experience to design, build, and maintain scalable backend services and APIs. You will work on RESTful microservices, data processing pipelines, and secure integrations with databases and external systems.

You will architect AWS infrastructure using Terraform, implement CI/CD pipelines, and optimize performance and security across backend platforms.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of backend development experience with Python.
• Experience building RESTful APIs and microservices.
• Strong knowledge of AWS and Terraform for infrastructure as code.
• Experience with PySpark and data processing workflows.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain backend services and APIs using Python.
• Develop RESTful APIs, microservices, and background workers.
• Architect and manage AWS infrastructure using Terraform.
• Build and optimize data processing workflows using PySpark, AWS Glue.
• Integrate with databases, queues, and external services securely and efficiently.
• Implement and support CI/CD pipelines for backend services.
• Monitor, troubleshoot, and improve performance, reliability, and security of backend systems.
