Job summary

Bright Vision Technologies is seeking a Principal Python Developer to design, build, and optimize enterprise-grade Python systems in distributed production environments. This is a remote, full-time role within a dynamic technology consultancy serving clients across the United States.

The ideal candidate will have 6+ years of Python development, deep SDLC knowledge, and hands-on experience with large-scale production applications, databases, and CI/CD practices.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or related field.
• 5+ years of Python development in enterprise environments.
• Experience building large-scale production apps with high uptime.
• Experience with Oracle, MS SQL Server, PostgreSQL, or Sybase; includes tuning & schema design.
• Strong SDLC knowledge across design, build, test, release, and support.
• Hands-on across system design, app development, testing, and operations.
• Strong data structures/algorithms and efficient design choices.
• Proven ability to debug and maintain enterprise applications in production.
• Solid understanding of Agile, CI/CD, resiliency patterns, and secure coding.
• Able to manage multiple projects with stakeholders informed.
