Job summary

Ethereum Technologies in Houston, TX, seeks a Senior Python Developer to help design, build, and maintain our firmwide AI Development Platform. The role focuses on scalable, secure, and reusable capabilities that power enterprise-wide adoption of Generative AI technologies.

You will design APIs and SDKs, implement robust testing, and lead integration efforts with Kubernetes workloads, CI/CD pipelines, and cloud deployments. Strong communication and problem-solving skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• 10+ years of software engineering and development experience.
• 5+ years of hands-on Python development in production-grade apps or libraries.
• Strong experience with Python, type annotations, automated testing, and static analysis.
• Production development with a statically typed language (Java/C#).
• Understanding of software design principles, data structures, modular architecture, and dependency management.
• Experience with DI/IoC.
• Hands-on with TDD, unit testing, and integration testing.
• Experience designing APIs and SDKs.
• Strong Kubernetes workload development and deployment experience.
• Experience with multiprocessing, multithreading, asynchronous I/O, and performance profiling.
• Experience with CI/CD, Jenkins, GitOps, DevOps, and Agile methodologies.
• Excellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
