Job summary

OSC EdgeTech, LLC is seeking a Senior Python Developer to drive security automation and AI-enabled software across large, federated environments. You will design Python-based scanners, integrate both local self-hosted and cloud AI models, and deliver scalable capabilities for DISA STIG compliance and CORA readiness.

You will lead technical efforts, mentor teammates, ensure secure development practices, and work across architecture, product, and customer teams to align outputs with mission

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, software engineering, data science, AI/ML, or related field.
• Eight or more years of professional Python software development experience.
• Experience delivering production Python software and AI-enabled software.
• Ability to integrate local/self-hosted models and cloud AI services.
• U.S. citizen with ability to obtain/maintain security clearance.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and optimize Python-based scanning capabilities at scale.
• Build AI-enabled product features using local and cloud models.
• Ingest, interpret, and map DISA STIGs with AI-assisted processes.
• Automate complex workflows with AI, including data extraction and validation.
• Integrate models for disconnected and cloud environments and ensure production readiness.
• Lead architecture discussions, code reviews, testing, and documentation.
