Job summary

GCS Recruitment is seeking a Software Engineer to design, build, and operate AI-driven automation solutions for a Cyber Security Operations Center (CSOC).

This hands-on role focuses on Python, AI/LLMs, intelligent agents, APIs, and automation to improve security operations, threat detection, investigation and incident response.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, deploy, and support production-grade AI and automation solutions.
• Build intelligent AI agents that access data, use tools, and run multi-step workflows.
• Develop automation for threat intel, threat hunting, detection engineering, and incident response.
• Develop solutions using LLMs, RAG, tool calling, planning, verification, and multi-agent orchestration.
• Build integrations with APIs, security tools, data sources, and enterprise systems.
• Ensure secure AI workflows with guardrails, validation, and human approvals.
• Evaluate and integrate new AI models and agent frameworks.
• Produce scalable, maintainable production software with Python.
• Create testing/evaluation frameworks to measure AI accuracy, reliability, and security.
• Monitor, troubleshoot, and improve production automation.
• Collaborate with cybersecurity/engineering teams to solve security challenges.
• Take solutions from prototype/POC to production.

Position Overview

We are looking for a Software Engineer to design, build, and operate AI-driven automation solutions for a Cyber Security Operations Center (CSOC).

This is a hands-on software engineering role focused on Python, AI/LLMs, intelligent agents, APIs, and automation, with the goal of improving security operations, threat detection, investigation, and incident response.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, deploy, and support production-grade AI and automation solutions.
• Build intelligent AI agents that can access data, use approved tools, and execute multi-step workflows.
• Develop automation supporting threat intelligence, threat hunting, detection engineering, security investigations, and incident response.
• Develop solutions using LLMs, RAG, tool calling, planning, verification, and multi-agent workflows.
• Build integrations with APIs, security tools, data sources, and enterprise systems.
• Develop secure AI workflows with appropriate guardrails, validation, and human approval processes.
• Evaluate and integrate emerging AI models, agent frameworks, and automation technologies.
• Build scalable, maintainable, and production-ready software primarily using Python.
• Develop testing and evaluation frameworks to measure AI accuracy, reliability, security, and performance.
• Monitor, troubleshoot, and continuously improve production automation.
• Work closely with cybersecurity and engineering teams to translate security challenges into technical solutions.
• Take solutions from prototype/POC through production deployment.
