Job summary

OSC EdgeTech, LLC is seeking a Senior Python Developer (AI/ML) to advance Optica Security, a DISA APL-listed CORA readiness platform. You will design Python scanners, integrate AI models, and automate cybersecurity workflows for large federated networks.

The role covers AI-enabled product engineering, STIG ingestion, model orchestration, and production governance, with leadership duties and collaboration across architecture, content, and customer-facing teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, software engineering, data science, AI/ML, or related field.
• Eight or more years of professional Python software development experience.
• Experience delivering AI-enabled software in production and integrating local/self-hosted or cloud AI models.
• Experience with AI/ML techniques: data prep, model training, validation, inference, and adaptation.
• Experience leading development teams and coordinating architecture and reviews.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and optimize Python-based security automation for Optica OS.
• Build AI-enabled features using local/self-hosted and cloud AI services.
• Ingest, interpret, validate, and map DISA STIGs within Optica platform.
• Automate complex workflows using AI with human-in-the-loop where needed.
• Integrate models for air-gapped and cloud environments; manage orchestration patterns.
• Evaluate models, perform lifecycle tasks, and monitor production performance.
• Extend cybersecurity content coverage beyond OS to apps, databases, middleware.
• Lead architecture reviews, code quality, testing, and production support.
