Job summary

NextEra Energy Resources is seeking a PV Solar & Battery Technician to support the operation and maintenance of solar and battery storage systems at Panama Energy Solar near Hallam, NE. Join a dedicated O&M team focused on reliability and performance.

Role includes routine maintenance, troubleshooting inverters and monitoring systems, electrical testing, safety compliance, and collaboration with engineers to optimize performance.

Qualifications

• High School Grad / GED must be met.
• Experience: 2+ years required.
• Valid Driver's License (NON CDL) required.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance and inspection of PV solar systems to ensure optimal performance and identify potential issues.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical problems related to PV solar systems, including inverters, modules, and monitoring systems.
• Conduct electrical testing and measurements to verify system functionality and compliance with relevant guidelines.
• Collaborate with engineering and design teams to provide technical feedback and assist in system optimization.
• Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and protocols during installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting activities.
• Document all work performed, including system upgrades, repairs, and maintenance activities.
• Provide training and support to other team members and contractors as needed.
• Stay updated on industry advancements, new technologies, and best practices to enhance knowledge and skills.
