Job summary

Intersect, a Google-backed independent energy and data center developer, is seeking a skilled engineer to optimize utility-scale solar assets within our Engineering team. You will lead capacity testing, refine energy models, and translate performance data into actionable insights for asset value and reliability.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical, Mechanical, or Power Engineering.
• 4+ years in PV energy modeling or utility-scale solar engineering.
• Experience supporting solar projects through commissioning and performance testing.
• Proven expertise conducting ASTM E2848 PV capacity testing.
• Strong modeling and analytics for performance forecasting.

Responsibilities

• Lead PV capacity testing and performance validation per ASTM E2848.
• Develop testing protocols and synthesize results into technical reports.
• Collaborate with Asset Management, Operations, and EPCs to validate performance guarantees.
• Analyze plant data to drive operational improvements and long-term asset value.
• Advance PV energy modeling and long-term optimization.
