Job summary

DLA Piper is seeking a Pursuits & Directories Senior Manager to lead the creation of client‑centric, compliant RFP responses and pitch materials. The role collaborates with attorneys and BD teams to develop best‑in‑class content, maintain an experience library, and manage directory submissions.

This position supports a hybrid work model across multiple U.S. offices and requires a proven track record in managing multi‑practice, multi‑jurisdictional proposals, with strong writing and project

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Communications, Marketing, or related fields.
• Master’s degree preferred.
• Minimum 10+ years’ relevant experience directing RFP responses and proposal development.

Responsibilities

• Facilitates conversations with attorney teams and leverages client intel to identify differentiating value propositions and win themes.
• Manages the pitch and proposal lifecycle including opportunity assessments, timelines, content gathering, and coordinating with pricing and BD teams.
• Drafts, edits, and reviews proposal documents to ensure final submissions meet requirements.
• Coaches lawyers on in‑person/virtual presentations for BD opportunities.
• Extracts pitch trends and sources potential BD opportunities to grow the pipeline.
