Corvant in Grapevine, TX seeks an experienced Purchasing Manager to lead strategic procurement for mission-critical HVAC, plumbing, and mechanical projects. You will manage high-value buys, negotiate with manufacturers and subcontractors, and align procurement schedules with design, fabrication, and installation milestones.

Ideal candidates have 5+ years in construction purchasing, strong ERP/Excel skills, and a track record mentoring buyers.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; advanced degree preferred.
• 5+ years progressive purchasing experience in HVAC/plumbing/construction.
• Proven track record negotiating high-value purchases and vendor agreements.
• Strong knowledge of equipment, specifications, and procurement schedules.
• Advanced proficiency with ERP and Excel for spend analysis.

Responsabilités

• Lead purchasing and buyout for large, complex projects from spec to delivery.
• Negotiate pricing, terms, and warranties with suppliers and subcontractors.
• Develop procurement schedules aligned with milestones in submittal and install.
• Own supplier relationships and drive performance improvements.
• Mentor and balance workloads within the purchasing team.
