Job summary

Jacuzzi is seeking a Purchasing Agent to manage procurement across multiple commodities and suppliers, ensuring timely availability of materials for manufacturing operations. This role will handle supplier relationships, purchase orders, inventory levels, and material requirements while supporting cost, quality, and delivery objectives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Operations, or a related field preferred.
• Five (5) years of purchasing or procurement experience, preferably within a manufacturing environment.
• Experience achieving cost savings or improving supplier performance.
• Experience managing multiple suppliers, commodities, purchase orders, and competing priorities.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to identify issues and develop solutions.
• Intermediate-level Microsoft Excel skills for data analysis and reporting.
• Experience with LN-Infor ERP or similar systems.

Responsibilities

• Execute procurement strategies and purchasing plans aligned with company goals and demand forecasts.
• Manage purchasing activities for multiple commodities and suppliers, including creating and maintaining purchase orders in LN-Infor ERP.
• Monitor material requirements and supplier commitments to meet production schedules and customer demand.
• Review purchasing, inventory, and planning reports to support decisions and identify supply issues.
• Monitor inventory levels, lead times, and usage trends to optimize stock and costs.
• Develop and maintain supplier relationships addressing delivery, quality, and pricing issues.
